Welcome to
VOH Photography
Who is Heather?
Hi, I’m Heather Fryer, surreal visual storyteller, fantasy image-maker, and the heart behind VOH Photography. I specialize in cinematic portraits, fantasy composites, and creative branding for bands, performers, and dreamers of every kind.
Inside My Creative Mind
Imagine a spiraling staircase dusted with cobwebs, leading to a forgotten attic where an old library card catalog sits, drawers flung open, vision-cards swirling through the air like a snow globe of creativity.
Each card holds an idea. A fragment. A dream.
That’s how I see the world, constantly alive with floating possibilities. And when you share your vision with me, I reach into that whirlwind, blend your idea with mine, and together we pull out something wild, cinematic, and entirely yours.
It takes time. It takes magic. But the results? One-of-a-kind imagery that makes people stop, feel, and remember.
The Photographer Behind the Art
I grew up across beautiful BC, Windermere, Kamloops, and other small towns that sparked my imagination. In 2001, I moved to Edmonton, Alberta, where I continue to explore, create, and collaborate.
I’ve been a photographer for over 20 years, evolving from family portraits into fantasy composites, dramatic band visuals, and creative branding for artists and professionals alike.
I’m an Accredited, Award-Winning Photographer with the Professional Photographers of Canada, known for bold storytelling, magical details, and images that feel like they stepped out of a dream, or a film.
Music, Artists, & Collaboration
I love working with musicians, bands, and performers to create art that reflects who they are. From album covers to promotional posters, solo shoots to group composites, we work together to create visuals as bold as your sound.
“Your story is yours, but through my lens, it becomes legendary.”
